Our data center by Experis has multiple layers of physical security, following the “Defense in Depth” layered security model. Available security features include:

• Proximity access control and alarm monitoring
• Digitally Recorded Video (DVR) from closed circuit television cameras (CCTV)
• Key card access for all authorized customers
• Visitor escort

This security system is complimented by the building’s private security infrastructure, which includes:

• Outdoor CCTV system that monitors and records any visitors going in and out of the building
• Entrances that are guarded 24 hours a day, year-round
• Controlled entry, limiting building access to scheduled visitors and authorized personnel with badges that grant pre-approved access to specific areas

Cooling and Humidification (HVAC)
Our data center is equipped with independent split-system air conditioning and humidification units. Portable air conditioners compliment the redundant environment. All systems are continuously monitored.

Fire Detection & Suppression
Our data center is equipped with fire detection and suppression systems as well as smoke detectors. An outside contractor also monitors the Fire Detection & Suppression system for alarms.

Liquid Detection
A liquid detection panel provides both visual and audible indications of any leaks that may harm circuitry in the building.

Power Protection & Availability
The building is serviced by two separate electrical feeds protected by a dedicated UPS system and industrial backup generator. In the event of a prolonged power failure, the emergency diesel generators provide power for the entire data center and all equipment within it.

Data Center Cabinet Power
Each cabinet can be tied into separate electrical feeds to provide a redundant power source for all hosted equipment. Cabinets are available in 10Amp configurations.

Professional Hardware Installation
Our Hardware Installation service, performed onsite by highly skilled personnel, ensures that every system component will be professionally installed and power-tested. You can even instruct the hardware vendor to ship any devices directly to one of our Data Centers for installation. Our Broadband/Internet service provides:

• Certified Technicians to perform all installations
• System components are securely cabinet-mounted and labeled
• Power connections are tested
• Network cabling performed as specified
• Serial numbers are recorded, and system component is entered into a local inventory database

You also have the option of installing your own hardware within our Internet Hosting Data Center. At no additional charge, your authorized personnel will be granted temporary access to our facilities to perform installations.

Hardware Support Service
TCI can assume the support responsibility for any system located within our Data Centers. We will support any hardware that is registered with the vendor and carries the original manufacturer’s warranty, or an extended service contract. Our technicians are available at all times and will work directly with the vendor to upgrade, repair or restore your system.
